Camera control systems and methods for providing a dynamic view of the environment outside of a vehicle are presented. One or more cameras are configured to capture at least one view of the environment outside of the vehicle. Control circuitry detects at least one of the speed of the vehicle and the pitch angle of the vehicle (e.g., by using a speedometer and inclinometer). The control circuitry selects a view angle based on the at least one of the speed of the vehicle and the pitch angle of the vehicle. The various embodiments described herein facilitate the identification of television content related to a specific search descriptor and genre. A user provides input requesting to locate television content related to a particular search descriptor and genre. A search keyword is identified based on the search descriptor and a search of an electronic programming guide is performed based on the search keyword to generate intermediate search results of television events related to the search descriptor. A filtering operation is performed on the intermediate search results using one or more filters identified based on the programming genre to generate final search results. A system for accessing entertainment options includes a graphic user interface generator that generates program listing display data to display a listing of programs available for downloading to a user on an associated display device. A user may select one or more programs from the listing displayed on the associated display device using the user access device, thereby initiating download of the selected program by the communication component. The storage device stores user history data, which is used to generate recommendation display data based upon the recommendation data to enable the user to view and/or select for download recommended programs. The graphic user interface generator may generate download queue data for display on the associated display device, wherein the displayed download queue data enables the user to view and/or edit the current download status of each program to be downloaded. The program data from the remote communication system may include real-time programs broadcast by the remote communication system, program guide data including current and future broadcast program information, and download program data including programs available for download from the remote communication system, which the user may search using the user access device.
