At Whisker, I lead a team of Product Designers working on the next generation of robotic pet care—because the future deserves fewer scoopers and more purrs. When I joined, the mobile app was, let’s just say, a few lives short of nine. The design was dated, the experience clunky, and the frameworks were barely hanging on by a whisker.
So I rolled up my sleeves, rallied the team, and we dove in like a cat spotting an open box. Together, we reimagined the app from the ground up. The new version—now rolling out slowly—has a fresh voice, a smarter experience, and delivers way more than just basic robot updates. It’s designed to give pet parents real value, not just “Your robot did its job” alerts.
And we’re not stopping there. Over the next nine months, our product family is growing fast. Litter boxes? Just the beginning. We’re on a mission to make Whisker the go-to brand for premium pet care—because cats deserve the best, and honestly, so do their humans.
